Attraction Chair

This artwork explores human nature and our innate desire to attract attention. The piece features peacock feathers attached to the back of a wheelchair, programmed to perform a choreography that can be adapted to the performance space. The chair moves through the space with the feathers fluttering in a carefully orchestrated sequence, activated with a button on an app created by the artist. The work stages a contrast between the peacock feathers (lightness, flight, beauty) and the mechanical wheelchair (disability, burden), reflecting how technology can both burden and enhance us. The artwork becomes an aesthetic meditation on changing human experience and our complex relationship with the technologies we create.
