rise and fall and rise and fall

This artwork is activated only when someone stands in front of it. The drawing machine I built starts to create a drawing, the one seen in the images and video. Once the drawing is complete, a magnet moves in from behind and wipes it away, resetting the surface and waiting for the next cycle.
